Awards
AETA conferences currently present two types of awards.
Best Paper Award
Best Presentation Award
These awards are presented track wise to an individual who has made significant, sustained and continuing contributions to research in information retrieval. The Best Paper Award is presented to the individual(s) judged by a separate awards committee to have written the best paper appearing in the conference proceedings. The best presentation award will also be given on the basis of organization and professionalism of presentation, communication skills of the presenter and appropriate use of time. Honorary appreciation certificates will be awarded to winners of these awards
Modes of Presentation
Each presentation requires a different tone, different types of stories, different examples, even a different choice of words. Of course, a speech can have more than one purpose, but there should be one overriding purpose that is absolutely clear to you and to your audience.
